Biography
Peri Came to Canada from India in 1970 at age 22. For the past 45 years, my area of educational, research, and scholarly and community activity interests have been in general “men’s health,” and in particular, “prostate cancer & sexuality.” Throughout my nursing career, I have spent considerable amount of time and energy promoting men’s health at my educational institutions and in the community at large. My current interest in Skin Canada activities is a personal one. This is my attempt at bringing my perspective to the Committee as someone who has experienced the disease of psoriasis since childhood and the toll it has taken on my body, mind and soul.
