SkIN Canada supports best practices in patient engagement through collaboration with the Canadian Skin Patient Alliance. We provide funding for patient research partners and resources to support meaningful priority-setting alongside patients and healthcare providers.

Build a flexible, secure study database with support from SkIN Canada’s Clinical Network for Skin Trials (C-NeST). Standardized tools and expert guidance ensure consistency across research sites—designed to set your study up for success.

Master Data Sharing Agreement

Master Data Sharing Agreement

A Master Network Membership Agreement defines terms for data sharing, banking, and publication -allowing SkIN Canada members from academic and community sites to exchange data for future multicentre studies without needing to re-negotiate a data sharing agreement with every new study.

SkIN Canada is dedicated to advancing skin research by supporting multicenter projects. Once your project is approved for SkIN Canada support, C-NeST and patient partners will assist in developing a comprehensive study protocol.

Apply for funding

Begin by completing our comprehensive Project Intake Form. This form collects essential details about your research project to facilitate our review process.

Create study database

After securing funding, collaborate with our Clinical Network for Skin Trials (C-NeST) to develop a secure and efficient study database, ensuring standardized data collection across all sites.

Launch study

With funding secured and your study database in place, proceed to initiate your research project. SkIN Canada provides ongoing support to facilitate a smooth study launch and execution.
