Most clinical trials are conducted based in physicians’ offices, but those trials can be difficult for some patients to access. Trials to test low-risk management strategies can be done online, and this may work well to study some how best to manage atopic dermatitis
(eczema). The objective of this project is to develop a system to conduct trials online for people living throughout Canada and the US. We will do so buy creating an online trial protocol, a data centre to collect data for online trials and by recruiting potential participants for online eczema trials collaborating with patient groups and a primary care research network.

If we succeed, we will then be ready to carry out trials to answer important questions to help people manage their eczema.
